Performing Arts & Combat Program
At the Workforce Fitness Performance Center, we use Performing Arts as a broad term for Art Forms like Music, Dance & Theater, which involve Live Presentation for an audience, using elements like Speech, Gesture, Music & Spectacle to Tell Stories, Convey Ideas & Emotionally Influence Audiences.

Theater specifically focuses on Dramatic Performances, acting out stories through actors using their Bodies, Voices & Emotions to Create a Transformative Experience for themselves and the audience, often incorporating Music, Dance & Spectacle. In short, theater is a major type of performing art, while performing arts encompasses theater and so much more.

Combat & Stunt Training combines Wrestling, Martial Arts, Gymnastics & Acting to teach Safe, Realistic Fight Choreography & Physical Stunts for Film, TV & Stage, focusing on skills like Falls, Weapon & Prop Handling, often starting with Foundational Stage Combat before specializing for screen work. Training Emphasizes Safety, Conditioning & Specific Techniques from disciplines like MMA, Pro Wrestling, Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Wushu & Krav Maga, preparing performers for the demands of Action Roles.
